About this policy

Tooth Club is operated by Tooth Club Pty Ltd (ABN 76 690 201 480). This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Our promise about children

Tooth Club is made for children, but our website is for grown-ups. We only collect personal information from parents and carers aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child has sent us their details, we will delete them.

If you write to Toothsie on your child’s behalf, please use only their first name or Tooth Club secret name. We will never share or publish anything a family sends us without the parent or carer’s permission.

What we collect

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Delivery and billing addresses
• Your orders and order history
• Messages you send us, including letters and drawings sent to Toothsie
• Information about how you use our website, such as your device, browser and the pages you visit

Payments are processed by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.

How we collect it

We collect information when you place an order, sign up for the free Star Book page, a Parent Guide email or a waitlist, email us, or browse our website. If you comment on our social media posts, that information is handled under the social media platform’s own terms and may be visible to others.

How we use it

• To process, deliver and support your orders
• To send the Star Book page and any emails you have asked for
• To reply to your questions and letters
• To improve our website, products and Parent Guides
• To meet our legal obligations

Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time, as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

Who we share it with

We share information only with the people who help us run Tooth Club, such as our online store platform, payment providers, delivery carriers, email service and website analytics providers, and our professional advisers, or where the law requires it. We never sell your personal information.

Information stored overseas

Some of our service providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States and Canada. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it to the standard required by Australian privacy law.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and help us understand how the site is used. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may not work properly without them.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
