How Tooth Club works

Two minutes, twice a day, with friends waiting at the sink. Here’s how Tooth Club turns brushing into a habit your child looks forward to.

1

Brush along

Every morning and every night, your child brushes with a Tooth Club friend. Press play on a brushing video and Toothsie and the friends brush right alongside them for the full two minutes, so the time goes quickly and nothing gets rushed.

Toothsie isn’t the one who tells children to brush. He’s the friend who makes them want to: “I’m right here. We’ll do it together.”

Draw a star

After every two-minute brush, your child draws a yellow star in their own Star Book. There’s a box for the morning and a box for the night, for every day of the week.

The Star Book is free. Print a fresh page each week, or use any notebook as a Star Book.

Celebrate every star

At the end of the week, count the stars together and celebrate how far your child has come. Keep the celebration simple and sweet-free: a sticker, a happy dance, or choosing the next brushing video.

Fourteen stars is a full week, but every star counts. Celebrate the effort, not just the total.

Why two minutes, twice a day?

Dental advice in Australia is to brush twice a day, in the morning and before bed, for about two minutes. Most children stop well before that. Tooth Club makes those two minutes feel short.

Help until about age eight

Little hands are still learning. Brush with your child, or check and finish their brushing, until they’re around eight years old.

Every child has a favourite

Toothsie and the eight Tooth Club friends each have their own colour and personality. Let your child choose a favourite to brush with.
